Welcome to St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church! Located in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Tryon, NC and dedicated in October 1911 by Benedictine Abbot Leo Haid, the church has been recently enjoying a renovation so incredible that it could only have been inspired by Divine Providence.

Matrimony: Couples planning marriage must contact the parish priest at least six months in advance of the Marriage.

COMMUNION & HOSPITAL CALLS If you or anyone you know is homebound or hospitalized, even temporarily, please call the church office at (828)859-9574. This way we can arrange for them to be visited by one of our Extraordinary Ministers. Often people in the hospital are missed because they enter as an emergency and we don't always get their name. With your help we can make certain everyone is taken care of.
